Frasier Season 2 will debut on Paramount+ on September 19, 2024. Two episodes will release on the premiere date, followed by weekly episodes until November 14, 2024. The new season will be available in the U.S., U.K., Canada and Australia, with additional regions getting access later this year. The platform will expand the series’ availability to more territories where Paramount+ operates.
Cast of Frasier Season 2
Season 2 will feature a mix of returning and new cast members. Kelsey Grammer returns as the iconic Frasier Crane, alongside Peri Gilpin, who plays Roz Doyle. Jack Cutmore-Scott portrays Freddy Crane, and Anders Keith plays David Crane. Additional characters include Olivia Finch, played by Toks Olagundoye, and Eve, portrayed by Jess Salgueiro. Nicholas Lyndhurst will play Alan Cornwall, while Patricia Heaton joins as Holly. Greer Grammer will appear as Alice Doyle, and Yvette Nicole Brown as Monica. Veteran cast members Dan Butler as Bob “Bulldog” Briscoe, Edward Hibbert as Gil Chesterton, and Harriet Sansom Harris as Bebe Glazer will also return. Rachel Bloom joins the cast as Phoebe Glazer.
Frasier Season 2 Filming
“Frasier” Season 2 is filmed in front of a live audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The show is written by Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, both of whom also serve as executive producers. Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon from Grammer’s production company, Grammnet NH Productions, are also involved as executive producers. Renowned television director James Burrows will direct two episodes of this season. The series is produced by CBS Studios in partnership with Grammnet NH Productions.
Episode Details
The second season consists of 10 episodes. The first episode, titled “Ham,” involves a conflict between Frasier and Alan after Frasier discovers Alan encouraged Freddy to drop out of college. Meanwhile, Eve and David deal with an imported jamon Iberico. The second episode is called “Cyrano, Cyrano.” Other episode titles include “All About Eve,” “The Dedication,” “The Squash Courtship of Freddy’s Father,” “Cape Cod,” “My Brilliant Sister,” “Thank You Dr. Crane,” “Murder Most Finch,” and the season finale, “Father Christmas.”
