Recap of Season 11 Finale
The Season 11 finale concluded a multi-episode arc focused on a serial killer. Sergeant Hank Voight was kidnapped, and the team worked to find him. Voight suffered injuries and experienced hallucinations of his former colleague, Olinsky. Detective Hailey Upton sacrificed herself to the killer to locate Voight, but she survived and left Intelligence afterward.
What to Expect in Season 12 Episode 2
The upcoming season will explore themes of identity, self-crisis and transformation. The second episode, titled “Blood Bleeds Blue,” will focus on Officer Ruzek’s mission to find Martel’s killer. Ruzek will team up with new character Kiana Cook as they hunt down the suspect. The episode will involve high-stakes action, including shootouts and a child kidnapping. Voight will be seen warning Ruzek about seeking revenge instead of justice.
