Where to Watch Rings of Power Season 2
Rings of Power is available for streaming on Prime Video. Each episode in Season 2 runs for about an hour, similar to the first season. However, some episodes may be longer, especially towards the end.
Storyline
The series takes place thousands of years before J.R.R. Tolkien’s “The Hobbit” and “The Lord of the Rings” stories. Set in the Second Age of Middle Earth, the show explores new characters and events while also bringing back familiar faces.
Rings of Power Season 2 Cast
Charlie Vickers will reprise his role as Sauron, alongside Morfydd Clark as Galadriel, Robert Aramayo as Elrond, Owain Arthur as Prince Durin IV, Ismael Cruz Córdova as Arondir, Ema Horvath as Eärien, Benjamin Walker as High King Gil-Galad, Peter Mullan as King Durin III, Markella Kavenagh as Nori Brandyfoot, Maxim Baldry as Isildur and Sophia Nomvete as Princess Disa.
Several new cast members will also appear in Season 2. These include Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen ‘Zates’ Atour, Ben Daniels, newcomer Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle and Nicholas Woodeson. Other additions to the series are Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo and Calam Lynch.
Production Team
J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay are the showrunners and executive producers of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.” Other executive producers include Lindsey Weber, Callum Greene, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill and Gennifer Hutchison. Co-executive producer and director Charlotte Brändström also plays a key role in the series. Kate Hazell and Helen Shang serve as producers, while Clare Buxton, Andrew Lee, Glenise Mullins and Matthew Penry-Davey are co-producers. Season 2 introduces a team of all-female directors, including Sanaa Hamri and Louise Hooper. Charlotte Brändström, who directed episodes 6 and 7 in Season 1, will return.
